GMAC’s main goals focus on Advocacy, Networking, Representation and Support of its Members in the international mining community in China, providing Product Services, External Relationships, Membership, Events, Communications, and Administration.
GMAC 是其英文全称的缩写，中文译为中国国际矿业协会, 致力成为代表全球在华矿业公司及个人的沟通交流社区和平台。 GMAC 的主要目标是为其矿业行业会员提出建议、提供沟通交流平台、代表及支持在华会员业务，包括但并不限于提供产品服务、协助建立外部联络、组织各类活动、促进交流沟通等。
Outstanding Speakers provided invaluable industry input, ranging from the technical, to the economic to the entertaining aspects of our broad industry. Most importantly, Networking and general catching up is a feature that members value highly, providing a vital opportunity for industry collaboration over a beer or glass of wine at the conclusion of the meetings.
GMAC can play a significant role in the training of Chinese mining professionals in the Int’l standards. A training program in resources reporting has been developed in partnership with the AUSIMM. Based on the JORC Resource Reporting Code. It is delivered in Chinese by GMAC trainers in both Classroom and on-line formats.
Over the years there have been several very successful Fields visits domestically to Chongqing, Hebei, Henan, Shanxi, Shandong, Qinghai and Inner Mongolia. All have not only included visits to significant operations, but also meetings with high-ranking officials in those regions. Coupled with Field Visits overseas to Australia and Canada.

多年来，已先后成功访问国内多个城市或地区，如重庆、河北、河南、山西、山东、青海和内蒙古等地。实地参观访问并与当地行业高级管理人员进行良好的沟通交流。行程也涉及海外如前往澳洲、加拿大等地考察。

GMAC Committee members are aware of human rights issues in the mining industry and believe there is no place for slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour or human trafficking in modern society. This committee aims to ensure that GMAC is taking the correct approach to the subject and assess and manages any potential risk.
