2026-06 GMAC Celebrates a Decade of Leadership and Industry

 The event featured an informal “bar-room chat” between outgoing Chairman Peter Arkell and Lewis Jackson, Chief China Commodities and Energy Correspondent for Reuters. 

 This month we will again feature the theme Women in Mining, with special presentations from the remarkable team of women at Hebei HuaAo (HHA) Mining Industry (the Chinese operator of Griffin Mining). 

The remarkable run of gold over the past couple of years. What’s driving it and what does the future look like for the precious metal as it continues its run past $5000.   We have a great guest speaker to discuss this and more. Dr Xing Zhaopeng is the Chief China Strategist at ANZ Bank.   

Our guest speaker will be an old friend of GMAC, Norman Ting.  He will give us a glimpse into the Metro business as well as the bauxite demand from China.
